Matt is a native of Southern Illinois with deep roots on both his maternal and paternal sides.  He grew up in Lawrenceville and later graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and an Associate's Degree in Aviation.  Since 2005, Matt has helped simplify his client's financial world at Pargin Retirement Planning Group. 

Matt and his wife TJ have two children:  Maddox and Tenley, as well as two 4-legged children: Winston and Bear. 

Active in his community, Matt is President of the Lawrenceville Downtown Revitalization Group, a Rotarian, and a director for the Lawrence County Capital Classic (an 8 team boys basketball tournament over Thanksgiving).  When not working, Matt enjoys basketball, golf, aviation, and travelling.  The family is also active at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Lawrenceville.
